Last night my daughter and I attended the Bobby Rush show at the Warehouse in downtown Memphis. I just wanted to say that Bobby was such a gentleman to my University of Memphis Music Major daughter and we really enjoyed that he would take time to speak to the both of us. The show was classic 'Bobby'. He was "ON" once the music started and we really enjoyed the night. I really dig Bobby's music. He's the man. I wanna see him live sometime. I live in DFW area and would be glad to come to a show. Can you shoot me a heads up when he's rolling through and I'll try to bring a few friends along to turn on to Mr Rush. Great to hear something new. I hunted for a year to find this album. I heard Hoochie Mama on XM Bluesville about a year ago and never caught the artist name. I spent about an hour today hunting him down by what I could remember of the lyrics.
